An ongoing commitment to small business

Community Futures has been providing rural entrepreneurs with the counselling, services and supports they need to establish and grow their businesses for over 25 years. In  2014-2015 alone, Community Futures organizations in BC disbursed 555 loans, totaling $29.5 million, creating and maintaining 2,564.5 jobs. Because Community Futures is a developmental lender, we have a different approach than financial institutions, and may be able to provide loans to businesses that don’t qualify elsewhere.

There are many tools available to help you plan business changes. If you are applying for financing from Community Futures, you will be asked to fill out some of these documents.

Don’t forget to contact us to ask about our Business Consulting services. Our staff are business experts with an intimate knowledge of the unique characteristics of our local economy. Plus, they can help you connect to a wide network of business leaders committed to creating thriving rural economies.
